LJOR Church is a community that love God and His people and believes in the advancement of His Kingdom.

Lord Jesus Our Redeemer Church is a believer in the saving grace of God through Christ Jesus. With the privilege to be called into His loving embrace, the church firmly believes in spreading His Word to the ends of the earth, making disciples and planting local church communities so that other nations can experience the power of salvation that comes only from Jesus.

Statement of Faith

God

We believe that there is only one God, creator of the heaven and the earth, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 3:16-17)

Jesus

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ the Son, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death for us on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1-14; Hebrews 1:8; Luke 1:31-35; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 25:31; John 19:30; Acts 1:9)

Holy Spirit

We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, who lives in the believers. He is the deposit guarantee of the believers, enables them to live in Christ-like character, and bestows spiritual gifts to all believers. (Acts 5:3-4; Ephesians 1:14; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)

Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and is divinely inspired and infallible. It embodies the supreme authority for the believers; anything that contradicts it must be discarded. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin, was alienated from God. Only by God’s grace, through faith in Christ’s death and resurrection, can this alienation be removed and the person be saved. (Genesis 1:26; Ephesians 2:1-8)

Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of every person; to eternal life for the believer, and eternal judgment for the lost. (John 5:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Church

We believe in the universal body of Christ and the authority of the local church. (Matthew 18:17-18; Acts 15:6-23)
